  Message from the Vice Chancellor for Education

  The School of Architecture and Urban Design of Iran University of Science and Technology are blessed with a proficient staff capable of providing one of the best research and scientific environments for its students.

  The School accepts students in 3 levels : B.S. , M.Sc, and PhD.

  The School’s classrooms are equipped with the latest technology, and the School building has a variety of centers including an amphitheatre, testing, saloon, and computer stations for undergraduate and graduate students.

  The activities and works of college professors, students, and staff are evident in the country’s scientific and industrial fields and workforce, which continue to attract the gaze of foreign specialists in the field.

  Explanation of Duties and Services

  - Approve academic rules and regulations

  - Program and adjust policy, and execute the process for ratifying the university’s education council

  - Ratify the School’s academic policy, and presenting it to the department head.

  - Supervise the academic progress of all M.Sc. students. - Refer student offences to the discipline/honor committee

  - Execute yearly evaluations of the scientific board and staff to enhance the quality of their activities.

  - Initiate relations and cooperation with the office of the vice-chancellor for education to execute regulations and accommodate the necessary approvals for education. - Supervise the research and educational activities of students taking complementary academic courses.

  - Hold regular complementary education council sessions.

  - Evaluate student educational and research activities for complementary courses.

  - Initiate relations and cooperation with the School’s complementary education for instating the related rules and regulations.

  - Supervise M.Sc. and PhD examinations.

  - Participate in the School’s complementary education council sessions, and reflect the results on the college.
