  Department of aerospace engineering

Objective of this department is to create ability in research, design, manufacturing and test of aerospace systems in divisions of propulsion, aerodynamics, structure, dynamics and control of space systems.

Aero systems such as airplane, helicopter and rockets as well as space systems such as satellites are based on advanced and modern technologies. Ability in design and manufacturing of these systems is tantamount to advancements in national technological, economical and defense achievements.

In addition, science and technology in aerospace as a progressive industry can assist other areas such as turbo-compressors used in gas pumping stations, automotive technologies, underground tunnels, industrial motors as well as construction.

In graduate programs, advanced methods in mathematical modeling, analysis, control, design, manufacturing and testing of different elements of aerospace systems are taught in approved formats by the department. Moreover, by completing seminars and thesis in the planned curriculum of different majors within the department, students will be prepared to face the real applications of their learning within the industry.
