Center of Excellence for High Strength Alloys Technology (CEHSAT) 

The Center of Excellence for High Strength Alloys Technology (CEHSAT) at Iran University of Science and Technology was established in year 2000. For more than ten years, researchers at the center have conducted many state of the art projects.

CEHSAT has been established with respect to the necessity for research and the use of new technology in the creation and development of high strength metallic alloys. The center also serves to enhance student experiences, research and scientific potentials that exist in the School of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering. CEHSAT has focused on fundamental and applicable research in fields pertaining aerospace, energy, oil, and transportation. Through cooperation with industry, the center aims to solve scientific and technological problems, and enhance international collaborations. Researchers at CEHSAT hope to contribute to the creation of science and new technology in the production of high strength alloys.
