Short course held for UFA University

A short course on ESP (Electromotor Submersible Pump) held with Ufa State Petroleum Technological University, Russia, by Prof. Vahedi, from School of Electrical Engineering at IUST. The short course held on 22-24 Dec. 2020 and presented topics including:

- Introduction of main components
- Different types of electric motor used in ESP:
       Induction motor
       Permanent magnet motor
       Flux switching permanent magnet motor
-Control system (VFD)
- Condition monitoring of ESP

The course addressed the faculty members and post graduate students at Ufa State Petroleum Technological University. The course was welcomed by the Dean of the Department and it was agreed that the course be prepared as a full course for post graduate students at UFA.

This short course was held following signing an MOU between Iran University of Science and Technology and “State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education- Ufa State Petroleum Technological University” on October 2020.
