IUST Condemns the Recent Killings of Shiite Muslims in Pakistan
March 10, 2013—Sunday a group of IUST students and staff held demonstrations against the recent killings of Shiite Muslims in Pakistan.
Representative of Iran's Supreme Leadership office at IUST, Hojjatol-Islam Ibrahimi Nejad condemned the acts of the violent militant group in Pakistan, "whom", he argued, "hold the belief that anyone who disagrees with their beliefs is a non-believer."
The Hojjatol Islam further urged that while the militant groups are not supported by the government of Pakistan, nonetheless Pakistan is responsible to take action.
The IUST community strongly condemns the recent killings and all other acts of terrorism, and sends its condolences to all those affected in the recent killings.
