Orgnic synthesis: catalytic oxidation of organic compounds by O2 and H2O2
HHM research interest are in the general area of Green Chemistry and Catalysis, encompassing the application of homogeneous, heterogeneous catalysis, synthesizing nanostructured materials, heterogeneous chiral synthesis, coordination polymer of transition metals and biocatalysis in organic synthesis; catalytic oxidation of organic compounds by O2 and H2O2

Syntheses of transition metal coordination polymers. Development of synthetic methodologies for several types of organic compounds by procedures involving activation by transition metal ions, namely using complexes of vanadium, manganese, iron, copper, nickel and other transition metal ions.
